I still don't get the whole Easter thing and I don't think I ever will. But I think I'll be able to handle not understanding it.
All I know is that it has something to do with a zombie guy, candy, and a mean-looking rabbit.
Ah, I stepped on a few chocolate rabbits. Didn't mean to, though! I'm not a crazed rabbit killer or anything. But they're every where! Just like the real rabbits, which are every where. I guess it kind of goes along with that saying about rabbits and---nevermind.
I think Finn might be in a sugar and chocolate-induced coma. Radarr, too. Those two can put away the candy and chocolate. That just means we'll be getting up extra early to get in a few extra laps. Especially with the weather getting nicer again.
Finn, tomorrow morning, 4:30, okay?
So other then stepping on chocolate rabbits, I had a blast this weekend at the festival. And when you get to have dinner and hang out with such awesome company, you can't really complain!

I think those kids were on to us that we borrowed the extra feathers and glue... |

Exactly how long was I asleep for? The last time I had checked it was Sunday and now it's Wednesday and the day is already half over.
Were you playing with crystals again, Finn? |

Don't get me wrong. I like a light show as much as the next person, but I don't know. That light show definitely didn't seem to be the exciting type that people sit and enjoy. I thought Halloween was in October anyway.
I guess what really gave it away that something was up was when they cancelled the rest of the match and made sure we were all back in our dorms. Kind of odd if you ask me. Should get Finn to investigate
Then again, we were doing pretty good. I wouldn't be too surprised if it was some sort of trick by the other team to take down our lead. That's not very fair, but sadly I've learned that not everyone plays fair around here. They should really remember that cheaters never win, though. |

I don't think it was this hot when I left Aiode. I noticed the, ah, volcano in the middle of the park on my way back to the campus. Should I ask, or should I just write it off as another Aiode Falls phenomenon?
...Finn? You didn't have anything to do with this, did you? You didn't go power hungry again, right? Because, you know, if you did, then I'll have to give Stork your souvenir that I brought back.
Stork, buddy, did you really end up in an auction? How did that turn out for you? I promise I didn't laugh! No matter what you may have heard. |

| | thoughtful | ] | I do things for a reason. Execution of these actions are sometimes flawed, but my intentions are always for the best when it comes to my squadron; my family and best friends. I'd never do anything to intentionally hurt them, but it seems in my attempt to protect people, that's all I'm doing lately.
Definitely not a feel good sort of feeling when you see one friend nearly killed, other friends being tortured by your enemy, other friends hiding away from the dangerous possibilities in a new town, and having to break off something to keep another friend safe.
Not really the best feelings and actions for someone who is suppose to be a leader and a Sky Knight.
I think I need some time to really think about and re-evaluate my priorities and get back on track to do things the right way. |

| | cold | ] | The temperature thing is a bit much. I mean, I've spent time on Terra Blizzarus, but this is a bit much. Not to mention my skimmer is now buried under the new snow fall, so I'm not entirely sure where it is. I'll have to go dig it out. I think Finn's is there, too. That, of course, is after I can actually function without wearing all these layers of clothes.
Going back to classes was interesting. I think there were icicles hanging on the chalkboards. I couldn't even make out the difference between the sidewalk and the ground. Not to mention I think I saw a few people run into what's left of the bushes around the buildings.
Either way, I managed to get through the new classes I picked up this semester. Physics is an interesting class. Aviation should be pretty easy with all things considered. As for Politics...not so sure how I feel about that class. I guess we'll see.
Ah, just out of curiosity though? Since the pipes and pretty much everything has exploded or busted, do you think the University will say open? I mean, I give them a lot of credit if they do, but I guess that's only if we're not all human icicles before tomorrow comes.
And, Finn? Have you seen that Solaris Crystal? |

I thought for sure that I would be spending my New Year's Eve in some sort of uncomfortable body cast. Actually I thought I would be spending it in some cold and dark alley behind some dumpster. Finn, buddy, I can't thank you enough, man. Yeah, yeah. I know. It was dumb. You can keep telling me that until you're blue in the face, but I had to try. Thanks to Katie's magic paste stuff, though, I'm alright. Doing really well, actually. Wish we would have had that stuff when I was in that full body cast.
It's kind of odd to know that I've been in Aiode for this long already. I'm not forgetting Atmos, but it feels like Aiode has been home for so long. I'm still working on trying to get my Skimmer to run efficiently on fuel, though. Although I'll have to wait until it's repaired. Stork, I, ah, may have to bother you to take a look at it. It's sort of split in two. I think a lot of the wiring may have been burned through, too. You can fix it right?
Here's to hoping that this year is a bit more laid back than the end of the last year was. |

I'm definitely going to be making an appearance at Selphie's Thanksgiving get together. Sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun. I'm guessing after that whole vision event, we could use something fun, yeah?
Kind of surprised that the semester's almost over. I'm not sure what I'm going to do over break, though. I'll probably see if I can get some extra hours and relax before the spring semester.
Oh, uh, Finn? I was going through some of the papers I still had in the storage compartment of my skimmer? I found your proposal to genetically alter pies to grow legs. I think I was suppose to present it to someone? Or was I suppose to send it to someone? I don't remember, but I have a feeling that, even here, pies cannot be altered to grow legs. No matter the argument, I don't think it can be done, dude.

How was the party? I know a lot of people are probably still out and roaming, but I figured I would check in now.
I was looking forward to the party. I had a pretty awesome costume and everything. It would have been a lot of fun to hang out with everyone, but eh. Considering I woke up this morning with a scratchy and slightly sore feeling in my throat, I decided to take it easy. I tried some generic medicine, but when I went to the on-campus nurse suite after I nearly passed out putting my laundry away, she told me that having a temperature of nearly 104 wasn't good. A few more check-ups here and there, and come to find out, I've some how contracted a miserable case of bronchitis.
She gave me some medicine and I stopped to pick up a lot of juice, teas and ginger ale per the nurse's instructions. Don't worry, Finn. You shouldn't catch it since I'm pretty good at making sure to disinfect everything in our room at least once a day. And don't worry. I made sure Radarr has stayed off your jacket and stuff just in case he managed to catch anything.
But, yeah. Hope everyone had an awesome time at the Halloween party. Here's to hoping I'll be better for classes on Monday.
Oh, and, by the way? The time change kind of confused me, but I'm caught up now. |

Not two days ago, I was having a look in a book And I saw a picture of a guy fried up above his knees. I said, "I can relate," 'Cause lately I've been Thinking of combustication as a welcomed vacation from The burdens of the planet Earth; Like gravity, hypocrisy, and the perils of being in 3-D, But thinking so much differently.

Was kind of M.I.A. there for a bit. Sorry about that. Don't worry, Finn. I didn't do anything fun without telling you.
Ah, there is something I need to talk to you about, though. Maybe. I'm not sure what I really want to do with it about it just yet. Um, I'm not even sure who it's from or where it came from. It's...nice. Definitely nice. Very nice, actually.
You know I really think I need to send Radarr down the hall to get something. Yeah. That's a good idea. Check to see if I have any mail. Probably don't, but he won't know that.
Piper, I never knew...I mean I knew, but I never, like this and .a.. ah.... ihavetogo. |

Preparing for the new semester at Aiode U has been quite the amount of work. I really wasn't expecting it to be this busy, but I guess when I first started, I had a lot of help settling. Now I suppose we have to do it all on our own. It should be easy...if I can remember what exactly they did before to get everything setup. Learning how to use blaster crystals is easier, I think, which is saying something.
Ah...so apparently there was something going around on the message boards about, eh, naming people - anyone - that you would, ah, want to...anyway, apparently Finn and I seemed to make the list multiple times. I, ah, really don't know what to say about it. I'm definitely flattered. Can't say I ever had anyone say that they wanted to, you know, with me. Not that I've ever even So, ah, thanks, I guess.
I think I need a hair cut. Anyone know a good place to get one? Just a trim. Not looking for a new look or anything. |

Whoever this prankster is - It's not you, right Finn? - I hope they know that they'll eventually get caught. And I hope they get caught soon. I know other people have been subjected as victims, and I wanted to remain out of that category, but unfortunately I fell into it finally. I went to return a video last night and couldn't because the overnight drop box drawer wouldn't open. Thankfully I wasn't the only one there to drop off a video. Come to find out the box's door was glued shut. At least the video store was nice enough to not charge anyone a late fee and thankfully I was returning my video well in advance of getting slapped with any late fees.
I rented "The Italian Job". I had heard one of the guys I played hockey with last season talk about it before, but I just never got around to hunting it down to watch it. It was good, though! I think Finn would like it. Would have saved it for when you got back, but Radarr wouldn't sit still and kept juggling the box around.
I can't believe it's already the end of July. The summer's been pretty crazy, hasn't it? Feels like it just started considering those few days of worry and panic. Just means the new semester's starting soon. I heard the freshman received the information a few weeks ago. I guess I should get on top of picking classes and everything. This university environments pretty awesome, but at least when you were training to be a Sky Knight, they had already selected your classes and training courses for you. I still don't really know what to pick for these majors and minors.
Oh yeah. I also got one of those Twitter things. I'm not sure how much I'll use it, but this girl who will apparently be in one of my science classes next semester - how she knows this I have no idea - told me to get one. Ah, for anyone who has one, it's just plain aerrow. Sorry. I'm not the fancy sort. |

That firework display on Sunday was pretty awesome! Terra Neon use to have firework shows, but I think this show was better. Definitely had bigger and brighter ones then Neon put on. I never realized how loud they were, though someone told me it was because it was over the water. The colors were pretty cool. Terra Neon usually only used green and purple ones, but it went well with the lights and loud music that came from that place. You always knew you were approaching it since you could see it, and hear it, from miles away.
Ah, who was this Jackson guy? He must have been really important considering his title and the fanfare they held for him. What area did he rule over? That California place? Seems he was a pretty good ruler if he had so many followers and fans. Be kind of cool to be that famous and well-liked some day. Probably would have gotten the chance if we were still in Atmos. Ah well...
Though, everything was so crowded yesterday; any place that had tv sets that was. I think everyone just wanted to see what was going on. Craziness. I don't think I've seen places that crowded since ... well I really can't say when the last time I saw crowds like that was.
Also can't believe how fast the new fall semester's coming. Hopefully we'll get info on picking classes soon. I'm running out of ideas and I think I need to pick that major thing sooner or later. Probably need to ask Mr. Mario for new hours for classes... |

I'm...kind of worried. Really worried.
Things only stay quiet in Aiode for so long it seems, but this? This is pretty violent even for Aiode standards. Four murders? All in that short amount of time? I really don't see how any sort of normal human being could manage that. I mean, even a highly trained and skilled Sky Knight couldn't manage that if that was their purpose...
Ah, no one that works at Mario's place feels like that, right? I'm serious here. Not that I don't think my co-workers and boss are awesome, but getting cut up into pieces isn't exactly on my list of things to do any time soon. I'd like to try and at least save that for the next time I come face to face with the Dark Ace or Cyclonis. And, ah, not to be too cryptic or gross about the whole thing, but who really wants to say they were defeated by a butter knife?
Ah...Radarr just gave me this very odd look for that last comment. I can't say I blame him, though. It was kind of twisted... |

Feels weird not having to get up to go to classes in the morning. Just have to get up and go to work and then the rest of my day is free.
It's just ... weird. It's also weird not having to worry about Cyclonis and what she's up to. Although I heard she's been pestering Finn...not surprising.
The party that the university held a few weeks ago was pretty awesome. The formal events are usually kind of boring, but this one was a lot of fun. Piper looked amazing |

Kind of quiet since everything's calmed itself back down. Reminds me of how the air feels after a run in with Cyclonis' talon squad back home in Atmos. Untouched, quiet skies, clear and bright. Warmer than it is now, but that depended on the region we were traveling in. Kind of miss taking time out to take in the air on the deck of the Condor. Definitely miss taking the skimmer out for a race with the rest of the squad.
Makes me wonder how different things will be when, and if, we get back to Atmos. Lots of things are changing here. Really? Sometimes I think it's all right to stay here. It's not so bad. Definitely seeing the, ah, charm Aiode has after this long. Finn's right. Definitely worth giving it a chance. Glad I did. Definitely glad I did.
I'll be happy when classes end, though. I'd give my left eye to be back in the academy compared to the work load they give you here. |
